Warranty & Returns Policy
Sirenco manufactures high-performance warning sirens built for demanding environments, backed by clear warranty and returns guidance.
Sirenco takes pride in designing and manufacturing high-performance warning sirens built to operate in demanding environments.
If a product is found to be defective during the warranty period, Sirenco will, at its discretion:
- Repair the product
- Replace defective components
- Replace the product with an equivalent model
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
Warranty Coverage
The warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Defective materials
- Faults arising under normal operating conditions
- Defective electrical or mechanical components supplied by Sirenco
Warranty Exclusions
Because Sirenco sirens are often installed in harsh industrial, mining, marine and civil defence environments, the warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
Electrical Damage
- Power surges
- Lightning strikes
- Incorrect frequency or voltage
- Phase loss
- Electrical faults external to the siren
Environmental Damage
- Flooding
- Fire
- Corrosion caused by chemicals or salt exposure
- Storm damage
- Impact damage
- Contamination from dust, debris or foreign materials
Misuse or Abuse
- Operation outside published specifications
- Continuous operation beyond recommended duty cycles
- Intentional damage
- Neglect
- Improper maintenance
Unauthorised Modifications
- Alteration of the siren
- Non-approved components
- Unauthorised repairs
- Modification of electrical systems or controls
Normal Wear and Tear
The warranty does not cover consumable or wear-related items including:
- Bearings
- Belts
- Paint finish deterioration
- Cosmetic damage
- Surface corrosion
- General wear associated with normal use
Returns Process
Before returning any goods
If you believe your product is defective and may qualify for warranty assessment, contact Sirenco before returning any goods.
Sirenco will issue return instructions if assessment is required.
Please provide
- Product model
- Serial number
- Date of purchase
- Description of the issue
- Photos or videos where possible
Freight and Shipping
Return freight for assessment
The customer is responsible for all freight and shipping costs associated with returning products to Sirenco for inspection or warranty assessment.
Products must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
If Sirenco determines that the fault is covered under warranty, repaired or replacement goods will be returned using Sirenco's standard freight method.
Limitation of Liability
Sirenco's liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective products. Sirenco is not responsible for:
- Loss of production
- Business interruption
- Lost profits
- Third-party costs
- Consequential or indirect damages arising from the use or failure of the product
